Dawson, pictured, is an elderly male Collie with a heart problem. He requires several medications. One is Pimobendane, which costs a $ 1.60 per pill. Dawson takes 1.3 pills daily.
Forest Voice adopted these horses in 2007 due to the owner's terminal illness. They are in their mid-20s now and require special farrier care and senior feed in addition to hay.
